Job description

  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations of patients to diagnose kidney-related disorders
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood and urine tests, ultrasounds, and biopsies
  • Interpret test results and make treatment recommendations based on findings
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with kidney diseases including medication management and lifestyle modifications
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, lifestyle changes, and treatment options
  • Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' diagnoses, treatments, and progress
  • Stay updated on advancements in nephrology and make efforts to continually improve knowledge and skills in the field
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the practice of nephrology
  • Requirements :

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
    • Residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in nephrology
    • Board certification or eligibility in nephrology
    • Current state medical license and DEA license
    • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating kidney-related disorders
    • Strong knowledge of nephrology treatments, medications, and procedures
