Job description

Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations of patients to diagnose kidney-related disorders

Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood and urine tests, ultrasounds, and biopsies

Interpret test results and make treatment recommendations based on findings

Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with kidney diseases including medication management and lifestyle modifications

Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, lifestyle changes, and treatment options

Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' diagnoses, treatments, and progress

Stay updated on advancements in nephrology and make efforts to continually improve knowledge and skills in the field

Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the practice of nephrology

Requirements :

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in nephrology
• Board certification or eligibility in nephrology
• Current state medical license and DEA license
• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating kidney-related disorders
• Strong knowledge of nephrology treatments, medications, and procedures
