Duties And Responsibilities

Purpose

Must be ARAMCO approved. This role serves the operational side of the organization's business. NDT (Non-destructive testing) technicians evaluate the physical properties of a material without causing any damage. They inspect and test materials to identify any corrosion, cracks, or other imperfections that could affect performance or integrity.

Functions

• Report to the site supervisor / superintendent, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable NDT inspection operations for clients.
• Perform NDT inspections using ARAMCO-approved methods: Ultrasonic PCN TKY, Magnetic Particle, Liquid / Dye Penetrant.
• Inspect components, pipework, and structural assemblies to ensure acceptability per specifications.
• Prepare and present inspection reports; submit daily NDT reports.
• Maintain a safe work area for NDT activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and Take II as required.
• Ensure inspections adhere to applicable specifications.
• Perform routine equipment and consumable tests; report issues immediately.
• Evaluate test results according to specifications.
• Produce clear reports detailing inspection methods, results, limitations, and restrictions.
• Complete work efficiently to meet deadlines, adjusting priorities as needed.
• Follow Oceaneering operating procedures and statutory/client requirements.

NON-ESSENTIAL

• Perform additional tasks as assigned within the scope of the role.
• Assist with other duties and undertake projects as instructed by management.
