Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting an NDT Technical Authority (PAUT Level III) for Abu Dhabi, UAE. This residential role focuses on brownfield refinery asset integrity, including piping and pressure vessels, with a senior, client-facing position acting as escalation point for complex issues.

Travel internationally is required, including time in the US for training/onboarding. The role emphasizes mentoring, standard-setting, and validation of inspection data to support project success.

Qualifications

• PAUT Level III with hands-on authority-level capability.
• Strong experience in PAUT corrosion mapping (plus weld inspection / integrity assessments).
• Proven brownfield refinery mechanical integrity exposure.
• Confident communicator with examples of resolving technical issues with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the escalation point for complex integrity challenges and validate inspection data/reports.
• Mentor and drive standards across the inspection team.
• Support client-facing activities and coordinate with senior stakeholders; travel internationally as required.

Urgent Opening - NDT Technical Authority (PAUT Level III) - Abu Dhabi, UAE (Residential)

We’re supporting a leading technology-led inspection business on a strategic hire for an NDT Technical Authority (PAUT Level III) to join their UAE operations (Abu Dhabi - residential role).

This is a senior, highly client-facing technical authority position focused on brownfield refinery asset integrity - particularly piping and pressure vessels. You will act as the escalation point for complex integrity challenges, validate inspection data/reports, and help drive consistent standards and mentoring across the inspection team. International travel is required, including time in the US for training/onboarding.

Key requirements

• PAUT Level III with strong hands-on authority-level capability
• Strong experience in PAUT corrosion mapping (plus weld inspection / integrity assessments)
• Proven brownfield refinery Mechanical integrity exposure
• Confident communicator with examples of resolving technical issues with senior stakeholders

Preferred

• Brownfield experience
• Ability to travel to the USregion
• Background at Mechanical Integrity Manager / Technical Authority / integrity leadership level
