Position:
NDT Multi Technician (Non-destructive Testing Technician)
Reporting To:
Operations Coordinator and Operations Lead
Job Objective:
- Support the operations department with designated NDT scope of work.
- Maintain health and safety standards within the SSI HSEQ department.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI).
- Conduct Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI).
- UT Weld Scanning with interpretation, evaluation, and reporting experience is required.
- Interpret and review inspection results as per reference code/standards.
- Follow approved test methods, techniques, procedures, and work instructions.
- Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports.
- Clean parts/materials prior to inspection and after completion.
- Ensure good housekeeping in the immediate workplace and surrounding premises.
- Maintain the organization's reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Specialized Knowledge:
- Oil & gas fields corrosion survey experience is required.
- Experience with NDT equipment and familiarity with manual and computerized reporting.
Abilities & Skills:
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' work experience as an NDT Level 2 or approved equivalent.
- Experience in oil & gas fields corrosion survey is required.
Academic Qualifications:
- Higher Secondary School qualification.
- NDT Level II or approved equivalent certification.
- PCN Level II certificate is highly preferred.
