CIB MARS is seeking a qualified NDT Engineer / NDT Inspector to join our Inspection Operations team. The role involves performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections to evaluate material integrity, detect defects, and ensure compliance with international quality and safety standards.

You will perform VT, PT, MT, UT, RT (where certified), and ECT (where applicable). The position requires 2-5 years of NDT experience, strong report writing, and familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM, and ISO

• Bachelor's or diploma in an engineering field related to NDT.
• 2-5 years of NDT inspection or quality inspection experience.
• Experience in industrial environments (oil & gas, construction, fabrication, or heavy industry).

Industry: Third Party Inspection & Certification

CIB MARS is looking for a qualified NDT Engineer / NDT Inspector to join our Inspection Operations team. The role involves performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections to evaluate material integrity, detect defects, and ensure compliance with international quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilites

• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections using approved procedures and standards

Conduct testing methods including:

• Visual Testing (VT)
• Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Radiographic Testing (RT) (where certified)
• Eddy Current Testing (ECT) (if applicable)

• Identify material defects, discontinuities, and structural weaknesses
• Interpret and evaluate test results according to ASME, API, ASTM, and ISO standards
• Prepare clear and technically accurate NDT reports and documentation
• Ensure proper handling, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipment and instruments
• Follow strict HSE and radiation safety procedures where applicable
• Coordinate with inspection teams, clients, and technical management

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Industrial Engineering or related field
• 2-5 years experience in NDT inspection or quality inspection roles
• Experience in industrial inspection environments such as oil & gas, construction, fabrication, or heavy industry

Certifications (Preferred)

• ASNT / PCN / ISO 9712 Level II or Level III
• Certification in one or more NDT methods (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT)

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of NDT techniques and defect interpretation
• Experience with inspection reporting and documentation
• Understanding of international inspection standards
• Professional communication and client interaction skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and technical integrity
• Ability to work in industrial and field inspection environments
