Job Purpose
Carries out and supervises Non Destructive Testing (NDT) tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft within the License Category, ensuring the work is performed, certified, and recorded accurately and timely in accordance with Air Arabia and regulatory requirements.

Key Result Responsibilities

  1. Reviews assigned task cards with the Workshops Supervisor to understand the work, priorities, documentation, and cautions before starting.
  2. Prepares and performs scheduled maintenance according to task cards, ensuring proper documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are used as instructed.
  3. Conducts test and inspection tasks to identify and record defects or damages per maintenance procedures.
  4. Performs defect troubleshooting and rectification following Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Engineering Department instructions.
  5. Signs off maintenance tasks within own scope, verifying completion and documentation accuracy.
  6. Coordinates with Engineers and Technicians to ensure proper communication, continuity, and handover of work.
Key Result Responsibilities - Continued
  1. Ensures safety of maintenance tasks by following all precautions before and during work.
  2. Uses proper GSE and protective equipment to prevent injuries.
  3. Manages human factors to maintain task continuity, avoiding interruptions and ensuring proper handovers.
  4. Provides support and professional advice to operational teams, demonstrating proactive customer service.
  5. Supervises and guides Technicians, ensuring they are briefed and support maintenance tasks effectively.
  6. Presents a professional image to Flight Crews, personnel, and customers.
  7. Maintains awareness of maintenance costs, minimizing waste and avoiding unnecessary damage or rework.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
  • Holds or has held an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 Aircraft Maintenance License with approvals on Airbus A320 or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of airframe and engine systems maintenance.
  • Proficient in English for technical communication.
  • Holds qualifications in FPI, MPI, Eddy Current, UT.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office).
  • Able to obtain UAE Driver’s License.
Work Experience
External applicants
  • At least 2 years’ certifying maintenance experience on Airbus A320 family.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Base environment.
