An engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a Naval Architect to solve straightforward Naval Architecture problems and conduct detailed design engineering. Responsibilities include performing analytical studies, preparing design calculations, and collaborating with various engineering disciplines. Ideal candidates will have 3-8 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, and familiarity with engineering codes and standards.
The Naval Architect applies their conceptual knowledge of Naval Architecture and, with moderate guidance from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving straightforward Naval Architecture problems.
They analyze solutions using standard procedures, building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers.
The Naval Architect understands critical business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve straightforward problems through technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
Responsibilities: Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Reports to: Manager (Construction Support Engineer)
Liaises with: All design/drafting disciplines, engineering disciplines, fabrication group, marine group, and document control.
Supervises: Trainee Engineers
