Job Mission:

  • Develop with the Naval Architect lead the specialistic knowledge of main Naval Engineer competences such as vessel Hydrostatic, Stability, Hydrodynamic, Dynamic Positioning System, Mooring, Engineering analysis for Offshore installation
  • Apply and improve technical skills, expertise, knowledge, procedures and tools as required for proposals and project execution
  • Improve quality and efficiency in the naval engineering activity

Job Responsibilities:

The Naval Architect executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements. Tasks include:

  • Apply the Naval Engineering acquired competence for the Naval Architect technical activities
  • Develop design capability (stability, hydrostatic hydrodynamics, hull, mooring, installation engineering, DP)
  • Prepare technical documents relevant for requisitions, bid analysis and PO
  • Prepare feedback dossiers from projects
  • Support the Naval Architect Lead to develop excellence in naval engineering
  • Acquire the capability and skill requested to successfully apply the state of art of numerical tool requested for the naval department engineering activities
  • Assist the Naval Architect Lead to implement the process of Lesson Learning
  • Improve technical competence growth of department resources regarding Hydrostatic, Stability, Hydrodynamic, Mooring analysis, Dynamic Positioning System
