Job summary

Mind Base Education in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Native-Level English Teacher to deliver engaging, interactive lessons across General, Spoken and Business English, including IELTS/PTE prep.

You will adapt lessons for learners of various nationalities and levels, teach in one-to-one, small-group, classroom, online and corporate settings, assess progress and provide constructive feedback, using digital tools to enhance learning.

Qualifications

• Native-level English proficiency with strong spoken and written skills.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics or related field preferred.
• CELTA/DELTA/TESOL/TEFL or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
• Experience teaching English as a second language.
• Experience with adult learners from multicultural backgrounds.
• Strong grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and communication knowledge.
• Ability to teach across different English proficiency levels.
• Excellent presentation and classroom management abilities.
• Comfortable using technology and online teaching platforms.
• Professional, patient and enthusiastic demeanor with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality English language lessons using a communicative and student-centered approach.
• Teach General English, Spoken English, Business English, pronunciation and communication skills.
• Deliver IELTS, PTE or other examination preparation classes where qualified and required.
• Conduct one-to-one and group classes for learners at different CEFR levels.
• Assess students' English proficiency and identify learning needs and objectives.
• Prepare structured lesson plans and select appropriate teaching materials and activities.
• Develop students' confidence in speaking and real-life communication.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing and speaking skills.
• Provide regular feedback and track student progress and outcomes.
• Adapt methods and materials to different learning styles and backgrounds.
