POSITION PURPOSE :

Sephora Middle East is recruiting a National Makeup Artist, based at Sephora University Dubai.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the development of the store Makeup team through in-store coaching, training, mentoring, and assessment (approximately 60% of the time). Additional tasks include delivering Sephora University Makeup training modules (both in-class and digital), supporting training content creation (including videos), organizing brand training, and handling some administrative tasks. The role requires strong collaboration with Retail & Store Managers to foster the learning and development of the store Makeup team. The National Makeup Artist will also support cross-functional events with Marketing, PR, and HR, occasionally leading other Makeup Artists and PRO team members.

This is a regional role requiring travel within the GCC (Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman) 1 to 2 times per month, with a total duration of up to 6-8 days per trip.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Coaching & Support at store level
2. Visit Sephora stores weekly to support follow-up, coaching, and assessment
3. Develop the store Makeup team through feedback and coaching on techniques, application, selling speech, Sephora Attitude, and new product launches
4. Partner with Retail & Store Managers to share feedback, develop plans, and follow-up through meetings and reports
5. Support assessments of identified talents

Makeup Education

1. Collaborate with the Makeup & Artistry Talent Manager to build and review training plans and calendars
2. Deliver Sephora University Makeup training modules (both in-class and digital)
3. Support leveraging makeup artistry by teaching trends, services, techniques, selling, and product knowledge
4. Track development and progress of the store Makeup team
5. Follow-up and support engagement with the Sephora Learning App

Makeup Brand Training

1. Manage administrative tasks related to brand trainings
2. Support content delivery for multi-brand trainings
3. Assist in organizing and monitoring Makeup Masterclass trainings
4. Support annual Makeup Education events

Collaboration & Communication

1. Share feedback and align with Store & Retail Management
2. Collaborate with KSA National Makeup Artists for best practices
3. Support HR in providing feedback and organizing events
4. Coordinate with the Makeup Offer team on priorities
5. Participate in shoots and events with Marketing/PR as a Sephora Ambassador

Skills and Qualifications :

1. Exceptional artistry skills; being a Sephora Senior MUA or with 5+ years of experience
2. Proven record of coaching and developing team members
3. Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
4. Local mobility within the UAE (driving license & car required) and ability to travel regionally (Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman)
5. Collaborative, flexible, adaptable, resilient, open to feedback, and self-motivated
