Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging music lessons to students, fostering a love for music, and contributing to the broader performing arts curriculum. Candidates should be committed to high standards of teaching and learning and be enthusiastic about working in a multicultural, diverse school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach music theory, instrumental skills, and vocal training to students across assigned grade levels.

Develop and implement a music curriculum aligned with national or international standards (e.g., British, American, IB).

Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.

Organize school concerts, performances, and music-related events.

Encourage and facilitate student participation in extracurricular music activities.

Assess, record, and report on student progress in accordance with school policies.

Maintain and manage music resources and equipment.

Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborate with other staff to integrate music with other subjects where applicable.

Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Music Education or a related field (Master s degree preferred).

Teaching certification/license appropriate to the UAE (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.

Proficiency in one or more musical instruments.

Familiarity with curriculum frameworks such as British (IGCSE/A-Level), American (Common Core/AP), or IB is an advantage.
