Job summary

NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability of building systems and equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to urgent repair requests, and coordinate with contractors to safeguard facility operations.

The role requires 2–5 years in maintenance, technical qualifications, and the ability to work with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and related trades.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in building or facility maintenance.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Certification in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Carry out repairs related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general civil works.
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair calls.
• Install, repair, and replace fixtures, fittings, and equipment as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Record maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately.
• Coordinate with supervisors and contractors for major repair works.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support facility improvement projects and other maintenance-related tasks as assigned.
