Job summary

Pulse Nova is seeking an experienced Radar Integration & Field Engineer to lead commissioning, testing, and field support across factory, customer, and operational environments.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting across RF, HW, and SW, plus in-depth data analysis using Python and MATLAB. Travel to military bases and international sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in radar integration/field engineering.
• Experience FAT/SAT, environmental and EMI/EMC tests.
• Hands-on system troubleshooting, integration, and data analysis (Python, MATLAB).
• Experience with defense customers and MIL-STD qualification processes.
• Ability to prepare technical docs, test plans, and reports with minimal supervision.
• Work across RF, hardware, software, and systems in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute radar system commissioning, including Setting to Work, FAT, SAT, and environmental/EMI-EMC testing.
• Perform field operations and integration activities, supporting on-site engineering tasks.
• Troubleshoot complex HW/SW, RF, power, and network issues on systems.
• Analyze radar logs and signal data using automation and analysis tools (Python, MATLAB).

As a Radar Integration & Field Engineer at Pulse Nova, you will play a critical role in bringing advanced radar systems into operational service. Working at the interface of engineering and deployment, you will lead integration, commissioning, testing, and field support activities across factory, customer, and operational environments. This role requires a hands‑on engineer with strong troubleshooting capabilities and a deep understanding of complex radar systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute radar system commissioning, including Setting to Work, FAT, SAT, and environmental/EMI-EMC testing.
• Execute field operations and integration activities, supporting on‑site engineering tasks.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting of complex HW/SW, RF, power, and network issues.
• Validate system performance under operational conditions and analyze radar logs and signal data using automation and analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, Julia).
• Performs integration, commissioning, and FAT/SAT testing, ensuring compliance.
• Prepare technical documentation, test plans, procedures, and customer reports with high standards of clarity and rigor.
• Provide on‑site integration, testing, and training support, with availability for travel to military bases and international locations.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 5+ years in radar integration/field engineering.
• Extensive experience performing FAT/SAT, environmental, and EMI/EMC tests, as well as on‑site system validation.
• Strong hands‑on skills in system troubleshooting, integration, and data analysis (Python, MATLAB, etc.).
• Experience working directly with defense customers and understanding MIL-STD qualification processes.
• Proven ability to prepare technical documentation, test plans, and customer reports with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated capability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams (RF, hardware, software, systems) on complex field campaigns
