Job summary

AL TARIQ is seeking a technically proficient RF Engineer II to contribute to the design, development, and testing of radar subsystems and RF building blocks. You will apply RF engineering expertise in circuit design, system integration, and performance analysis.

The role supports cross-functional teams, with strong communication and documentation skills essential for success in this position. Proficiency in RF simulation tools and hands‑on testing will be required.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on RF engineering background with 5+ years of practical industry experience.
  • Experience in RF architecture definition, frequency planning, and RF link budget analysis.
  • Proven experience in RF front-end design.
  • Experience in RF testing and debugging using lab equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzer, and signal generators.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the hands‑on design and realization of RF passive and active circuits used in phased array antennas, large RF systems, and other RF components.
  • Design and test circuits for receivers, transmitters, local oscillators, and RF subsystems.
  • Simulate circuit and system performance using analytical software such as ADS, HFSS, CST, AWR, and MATLAB.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to realize completed RF electronics and RF designs.
  • Participate and guide the testing of RF hardware for required performance metrics in antenna and phased array systems: VSWR, insertion loss, power, G/T, etc.
  • Design chip and wire components for use in receivers, high‑power limiters, and transmitters.
  • Test and document designs in preparation for potential production.
  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field.
  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a technically proficient RF Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and testing of radar subsystems and systems building blocks by applying RF engineering expertise in circuit design, system integration, and performance analysis.

The Engineer II will support cross-functional teams in building advanced radar solutions. Strong communication skills and technical documentation abilities are key for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be responsible for the hands‑on design and realization of RF passive and active circuits used in phased array antennas, large RF systems, and other RF components.
  • Design and test circuits for receivers, transmitters, local oscillators, and RF subsystems.
  • Simulate circuit and system performance using analytical software such as AWR Microwave Office, VSS, Ansys, CST, and MATLAB.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to realize completed RF electronics and RF designs.
  • Participate and guide the testing of RF hardware for required performance metrics in antenna and phased array systems: VSWR, insertion loss, power, G/T, etc.
  • Design chip and wire components for use in receivers, high‑power limiters, and transmitters.
  • Test and document designs in preparation for potential production.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong hands‑on RF engineering background with 5+ years of practical industry experience
  • Experience in RF architecture definition, frequency planning, and RF link budget analysis
  • Proven experience in RF front‑end design
  • Proficiency in RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST, AWR, MATLAB)
  • Good understanding of RF components including LNAs, PAs, mixers, filters, synthesizers, and T/R modules
  • Experience in RF testing and debugging using lab equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzer, and signal generators
