OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
- Minimum one year of sales and administrative experience, preferably in the international market, with a proven ability to develop strong client relationships, especially in corporate catering and group business.
- Solid sales and account management skills, with a good understanding of the corporate market and industry trends.
- Strong research, negotiation, and client-focused skills.
- Ability to develop and execute sales and client action plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident in presentations; second language skills are a plus.
- Experience in direct sales, including dealing with travel and event decision-makers; experience in group and banqueting sales is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to contribute to revenue growth by following sales strategies set by management.
- Ability to identify revenue opportunities based on client profiles.
- Meet and exceed individual revenue targets, manage budgets, and up-sell products and services.
- Understand the market landscape, including competitors and industry trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, including conducting sales calls, entertainment, and site visits.
- Proactively seek new business, focusing on high-potential accounts.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and target local corporate clients.
- Negotiate and close sales opportunities aligned with hotel needs and market conditions.
- Prepare sales contracts and manage budgets to meet financial goals.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
- Coordinate event details with clients, ensuring excellent service during all event phases.
- Lead in guest hospitality, resolving issues and ensuring service excellence.
- Review guest feedback and implement improvements.
- Share market intelligence and update on key accounts.
- Conduct competitive analysis and sales activities to expand business.
- Prepare regular reports and participate in strategic meetings.
- Respond to corporate rate inquiries within standard timeframes.
