Job summary

STP Partners in Dubai, UAE, seeks an experienced Head of Trading to lead the desk, execute across multiple asset classes, and mentor the team. The role requires deep bench strength in cross-border markets, robust prime broker relationships, and steady leadership to uphold execution discipline.

You'll trade hands-on while guiding strategy, risk controls, and regulatory adherence across UAE and Europe. A strong network with liquidity providers is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of trading experience within institutional buy-side or sell-side environments.
• Proven multi-asset trader with direct P&L responsibility.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead trading role with team management responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience trading across European markets and UAE/GCC markets.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field; CFA/FRM or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage trading across a multi-asset portfolio including equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, commodities, and alternatives.
• Maintain direct market access and manage relationships with prime brokers, ECNs, and liquidity providers across European and MENA markets.
• Develop, refine, and implement best-execution strategies across all asset classes.
• Monitor market microstructure, liquidity conditions, and execution quality; continuously improve execution frameworks.
• Trade directly across live books, with P&L accountability alongside oversight responsibilities.
