MS ELL Teacher - Aug 2025

Position Overview:

We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Middle School ELL Teacher to join our dedicated team in August 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive ELL lessons to middle school students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
• Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for ELL and foster critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Ensure continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
• Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate openly with parents regarding student progress.

Specific qualifications required for this role:

• Teaching Credential/License

Additional requirements for this role:

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent specialism in ELL.
• Proven experience teaching ELL at the middle school level, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and hands-on ELL education.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
