Job Summary:

The Modern Foreign Languages Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging language lessons that help students develop proficiency and confidence in one or more foreign languages. The teacher will foster cultural awareness and inspire a passion for language learning in a supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective lessons in [specify language(s) e.g., French, Spanish, German, Mandarin] aligned with the schools curriculum and educational standards.

• Develop students reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through varied instructional strategies and activities.

• Prepare teaching materials, resources, and assessments tailored to different learning styles and abilities.

• Participate in department meetings, training sessions, parent evenings, and school events.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Modern Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.

• Proficiency and fluency in the target language(s).

• Prior teaching experience in a school setting is preferred.

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
