Job description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Manager MIS with a background in banking, capital markets, or brokerage/investment banking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end MIS reporting across business verticals, supporting strategic decisions with data-driven insights, and streamlining financial and operational reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

MIS & Business Reporting:

• Design and deliver daily/weekly/monthly MIS dashboards covering sales, revenue, cost, P&L, and compliance KPIs
• Track business unit performance for retail banking, corporate banking, treasury, wealth management, and equity/debt markets
• Prepare business intelligence reports for CXOs, investors, and board-level discussions
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
• Conduct variance analysis (plan vs actual) and performance trends to highlight strategic focus areas
• Collaborate with Finance and Strategy teams to improve business profitability

Data Management & Automation:

• Manage integration of data across multiple sources such as core banking, trading platforms, CRM, ERP (SAP/Oracle), and external APIs
• Drive automation of reports using advanced Excel, SQL, and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
• Maintain data accuracy, compliance standards, and structured documentation

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Liaise with senior business heads (Treasury, Equity, Derivatives, Research, IB) to provide customized reports
• Provide insights to help optimize brokerage operations, channel performance, and cost structures
• Ensure alignment with risk, audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting functions

Key Skills & Tools:

• Strong in financial modeling, profitability analysis, and investment metrics
• Expertise in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL (Python/VBA is a plus)
• Knowledge of financial products including loans, equities, bonds, derivatives, PMS, AIFs, MFs
• Familiar with platforms like Bloomberg, NSE/BSE terminals, Murex, or broking back-office systems

Qualifications:

• 8 12 years of experience in banks, brokerages, wealth firms, or investment banking setups
• Experience in managing large-scale reporting for trading desks, fund management, or capital markets

Preferred Background:

• MIS/FP&A roles within a brokerage house, treasury desk, or IB research & operations
• Understanding of SEBI, RBI, and exchange compliance reporting norms
• Exposure to high-growth environments and managing cross-functional data requirements
