Job Responsibilities
  • Works in close cooperation with the Room Service/ Guest Relation / Front Office and other key service departments.
  • Attends regular training sessions in line with departmental SOPs, including guest care, product knowledge, telephone manners, entering guest rooms, etc.
  • Works according to the instructions of the Supervisor and duty schedules.
  • Maintains proper appearance and grooming at all times.
  • Answers the Room Service telephones as required.
  • Knows the Room Service menu and can answer guests’ queries.
  • Maintains a professional, friendly, yet discreet relationship with guests to ensure their well-being.
  • Reports cleanliness and maintenance issues immediately to the Room Service Manager.
  • Handles guest complaints as per instructions or refers them to the Room Service Manager.
  • Prepares all Mis-en-place according to 24-hour service requirements.
  • Keeps occupancy information documents secure during work on the floors.
  • Ensures no expired minibar items are placed in rooms.
  • Attends departmental briefings and contributes to open communication.
  • Conducts proper shift handovers.
  • Familiar with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Assists in other hotel areas as needed.
Qualifications
