Job Responsibilities:

  1. Works closely with Room Service, Guest Relations, Front Office, and other key departments.
  2. Attends regular training sessions aligned with departmental SOPs, including guest care, product knowledge, telephone etiquette, and guest room entry procedures.
  3. Follows instructions from supervisors and adheres to duty schedules.
  4. Maintains proper appearance and grooming at all times.
  5. Answers Room Service telephones as required.
  6. Has knowledge of the Room Service menu and can address guest inquiries.
  7. Maintains a professional, friendly, yet discreet relationship with guests to ensure their well-being.
  8. Reports cleanliness and maintenance issues immediately to the Room Service Manager.
  9. Handles guest complaints according to instructions or refers them to the Room Service Manager.
  10. Prepares all Mise-en-place according to 24-hour service requirements.
  11. Keeps occupancy documents secure during work on the floors.
  12. Ensures no expired minibar items are placed in rooms.
  13. Participates in departmental briefings and contributes to open communication.
  14. Conducts proper shift handovers.
  15. Familiar with company policies and safety procedures.
  16. Assists in other hotel areas as needed.

Qualifications:

  • HACCP: Full compliance with HACCP standards and certification.
  • Education and Experience: Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality; open to freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in 4-5 star hotels.
