We are seeking an experienced Middle East Operations Engineer - Manager to join our Leadership Services team in Dubai.
This role leads, develops and manages the Service Operations business in the Cluster for the EMEA Services Business Unit. This includes Power Quality, Power Distribution, Life Safety Service Operations, Field Engineering and Service Coordination, looking to drive operational synergies between the Services operations cross divisions in scope. Responsible for creating a compelling Service Value Proposition for the Cluster area in scope to support growth, innovation and profit plan requirements, whilst applying the Eaton standard work practices as defined by EBS and driving Eaton’s Zero Safety Culture.
What you’ll do:
Operations:
Ensures the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with MESH, Eaton's Zero Incident Safety Culture as well as national guidelines and procedures.
Manages of Field Service Engineering teams. Ensure efficient utilization of Engineer force, compliance to H&S regulations, Field Audits, Training and development.
Drives Operational Standardization across the Cluster, including operational improvements in field engineering, back office functions and service coordination in the Cluster
Acts as an escalation point for customer, technical and operational issues, coordinating the teams to solve the issues ensuring collaboration withing the required parties: factories, technical teams and EMEA Service team
Facilitates as applicable in the implementation and delivery of improved Field Service Systems
Contribute to the EMEA Service Strategic Plan to ensure growth and sustained profitability in line with Eaton's overall strategic goals - particularly focused on EMEA productivity expectations.
Defines performance metrics and evaluates and interprets data to drive performance improvement and productivity throughout the organization.
Interacts with the EMEA Central Service Operation Manager on standards implementation, and participate in identifying, defining best practices and new standards
Collaborates with other operational teams in the country to identify and implement synergies.
Leadership:
Acts as a role model in line with Eaton ethical standards of conduct and Eaton leadership value and attributes.
Develops, inspires, motivates and manages the team to achieve business goals.
Identifies and develops possibilities for future business growth
Builds Organizational Capability by developing competencies as well as identifying talent gaps.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required
10+ years of experience in Operational Management in the Middle East
Experience with Hyperscale Datacenter and Oil & Gas Industry preferred
Skills:
Field engineering services experience (electrical/mechanical)
Experienced people manager
Ability to influence key stakeholders
Intercultural awareness
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external representation
Time management and delegation skills
English fluency (verbal/written)
