Responsibilities:
- Utilize MicroStation to create and maintain detailed engineering drawings for Roads & Highways/Wet & Dry Utilities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all designs and drawings adhere to company standards, codes, and regulations.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure designs are error-free and meet the required specifications.
- Assist with the preparation of design documents, reports, and presentations.
- Update and maintain project files and documentation in an organized and efficient manner.
- Provide support to other team members, including mentoring junior designers or drafters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to design software or drawing techniques.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience using MicroStation software in a professional setting (preferably 2+ years).
- Strong understanding of CAD design principles and drafting standards.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively with various departments.
- Proficient in design tools and software, including MicroStation, AutoCAD, and other relevant design applications.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of engineering standards and project management practices is a plus.
- Must have GCC project/work experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with 3D modeling in MicroStation.
- Familiarity with GIS or other mapping software.
- Certification in MicroStation or other relevant CAD-related certifications.
- Familiarity with industry standards for design, construction, or infrastructure projects.
