A leading company in Dubai is seeking a Web Developer skilled in the MERN stack to design and maintain applications. The role involves collaborating with teams on new features while optimizing for speed and performance. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years experience, with a strong track record in live projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and Next.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct peer code reviews.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance.
- Implement SEO best practices and ensure websites are optimized for search engines.
- Manage databases using both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Node.js and React (Next.js).
- Proven track record of completing at least 5 live projects using the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TailwindCSS.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and GraphQL.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
- Familiarity with database management using both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably GitHub.
- Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS and Azure.
