Job summary

E-City Supermarket is hiring a Shelf Boy / Merchandiser to manage stock levels, restock shelves, and assist customers in a busy store environment. The role includes stocking, back-room handling, pricing checks, and ensuring attractive product displays to maximize sales.

The position requires reliability for shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, with monthly salary ranging from AED 1,200 to AED 1,400. Dubai-based, full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in shelf stocking and refilling shelves.
• Ability to handle stock counts and shelf replenishment.
• Excellent communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers when entering or leaving facility.
• Maintain clean, orderly shelves and spaces; mop, sweep floors; assist with spills; ensure store looks presentable.
• Help locate products and load/unload in back room; restock shelves.
• Replenish displays; check quality, pricing and stock levels.
• Assist in procuring products based on shop demands.
• Display items according to standards; correct placement and rotation.
• Ensure pricing is accurate.
• Handle customer grievances and provide information.
• Answer questions and escalate to a manager if unresolved.
• Process returns and check for damage.
• Provide friendly customer service and timely assistance.
• Assist in weekly sales promo price changes.
• Able to lift heavy items and perform physical work.
• Capable of overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Maintain clear communication with team and customers.
• Operate pallet jack as needed.
