Merchandiser

As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies that drive product sales and profitability. Your role will involve analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to make informed decisions on product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and maintain optimal inventory levels. Additionally, you will monitor competitor activities and conduct regular store visits to assess product displays and customer experience. Responsibilities

6. Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or markdowns as needed.
7. Conduct regular store visits to assess merchandising performance and gather feedback from store associates and customers.
8. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to make recommendations for product assortment and pricing.
9. Prepare and present merchandising reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
10. Train and mentor junior merchandising staff to ensure alignment with company standards and goals.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Design, or related field.
2. Proven work experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role.
3. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
