Job summary

Miral Experiences in Abu Dhabi invites a Merchandise Planner & Allocator to own end-to-end merchandising for a defined category, driving sales, availability and inventory performance across the business.

You’ll forecast, plan and allocate, manage OTB and re-order quantities, and partner with VM teams to optimize stock levels and promotions to achieve budget targets. You’ll present insights to senior stakeholders to inform range reviews and future growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in merchandise planning or related category.
• Strong forecasting, trading and inventory management experience.
• Experience presenting performance reviews to senior stakeholders.
• Background in Apparel, Toys, or Home & Gift essential.
• Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

• Manage stock flow from suppliers in collaboration with the Assistant Merchandise Planner.
• Work closely with VM teams to manage outlet-level stock triggers.
• Propose and analyze promotions to support sales and inventory objectives.
• Provide clear analysis and summaries for revised plans and obtain sign-off where required.

About the role

We’re looking for a Merchandise Planner & Allocator to support the planning, forecasting and trading of a defined product category. This role works closely with the Senior Merchandise Planner and plays a hands-on part in driving sales, availability and inventory performance across the business. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end merchandising activities for your category, using data and insight to support commercial decisions and deliver budgeted targets.

What you’ll bring

• Background in Apparel, Toys, or Home & Gifting (essential)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communicator who builds effective internal and external relationships
• Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office proficiency

Nice to have

• Experience in the theme park or entertainment retail environment
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
