MEP Tenders & Contracts Lead — High-Rise Projects

Job summary

Ikonhouse LLC is seeking a seasoned Tenders & Contracts Manager in the UAE to lead its tendering department and guide a handover from a retiring long-time manager.

You will own the full bid-to-contract cycle—from identifying opportunities and preparing MEP estimates to negotiating contracts and securing awards. You will lead a team of engineers, manage contractual risk (FIDIC-based contracts), and report progress to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP construction with a strong track record in tendering and contracts.
• Fluent Arabic and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers preparing tenders and ensure accurate pricing.
• Draft, review and finalize contracts, including FIDIC-based contracts.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities across high-rise residential and commercial developments.
• Negotiate with clients to secure contract awards and manage contractual risk.
• Lead client discussions through to contract award and sign-off.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants and main contractors.
• Take full ownership of the tendering department within the first 3–6 months, working alongside the outgoing manager during handover.
• Report on tender pipeline, win rate and estimate accuracy to the General Manager.
