Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced MEP Technical Manager/Coordinator to join our project team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The MEP Technical Manager will lead all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination, design management, and technical delivery aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the MEP design coordination process, ensuring integration with architectural and structural elements.
• Review and validate MEP designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements in alignment with project specifications and authority requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities to ensure MEP systems comply with regulatory standards (DEWA, FEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
• Ensure MEP works are executed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project timelines.
• Supervise and guide site MEP engineers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with design intent and safety standards.
• Conduct regular technical meetings with stakeholders and provide progress reports to senior management.
• Proactively identify design clashes or execution challenges and provide technical solutions.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years working in the UAE.
• Proven experience working for main contractors on high-rise building projects.
• Deep understanding of MEP systems, standards, and authority approval processes in the UAE.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design coordination tools.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
