Job Description

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Analyze project costs, prepare budget estimates, and control expenditure.
• Assist in tender preparation and evaluation of bids.
• Monitor project progress and provide accurate forecasts of project costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure compliance with budgets.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare monthly payment applications and evaluate subcontractor invoices.
• Manage contractual correspondence and maintain records of all contractual documents.
• Participate in value engineering and cost optimization exercises.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Utilize advanced software tools for estimating and project management to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and regulations affecting the MEP sector to inform decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in MEP projects.
