Job summary

Utopia Corporation in Dubai seeks an on-site MEP Engineering Coordinator to bridge HVAC, electrical, and plumbing with luxury architecture on active projects.

You will coordinate with architects, designers and contractors, ensure design compliance, and resolve issues quickly. This role requires 8–15 years of experience, Revit/AutoCAD proficiency, and willingness to relocate to project sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Building Engineering with HVAC focus.
• 8–15 years in design consultancy or general contracting.
• Experience on low-rise residential and hospitality projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Professional level of English.
• Willing to relocate on-site for the duration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to in-house and external teams throughout design and construction.

About the role

You’ll take on‑site ownership of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineering coordination for one of Utopias active luxury construction projects — private homes and villas, hotels and resorts. You’ll be based on‑site at the assigned project location in Dubai, bridging complex HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems with the uncompromising aesthetic standards of world‑class architecture, working closely with architects, interior designers, structural engineers, procurement teams, and client representatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and guidance to in‑house design & QS teams, third‑party designers, consultants and contractors throughout the design and construction process
• Review and evaluate Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing design to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and managers to optimise Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing systems integration
• Timely resolve technical issues and challenges during the design and construction phases
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing systems, including local construction regulations for the projects location
• Manage, control and track changes and variations in accordance with the corporate routine

• Degree in Civil or Building Engineering with a concentration in HVAC and mechanical systems
• 8 to 15 years of experience in design consultancy or with a general contractor
• Experience working on low‑rise residential and hospitality projects — private homes and villas, hotels and resorts
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Professional level of English, written and verbal
• Willingness to relocate on‑site to the assigned project location for the duration of the assignment

• Fluency in a regional language relevant to the projects location
• Experience in tropical, coastal, or other climate‑demanding regions
• Experience working with luxury hotel chains and their corporate design guidelines
