Vhr in Dubai is seeking an MEP QA/QC Electrical Inspector specializing in lighting, small power and control systems for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on ensuring installations meet design specs, codes and safety standards on villa projects.
You will conduct inspections, witness tests, document nonconformities, and coordinate with engineers, contractors and project managers to maintain quality and schedule. On-site work with exposure to various weather conditions and extended hours.

The MEP QA/QC Electrical Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems andinstallations within a project meet the required standards specifications and codes. Theinspector will perform regular inspections tests and audits to maintain the quality andfunctionality of electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electricalsystems industry standards and quality assurance/control processes.
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent in the Electrical Engineering Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in electrical QA/QC inspection or arelated field. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g. NEC NFPA or other industryrelatedcertifications) are preferred. Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems construction codes andindustry standards. Skills: Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with QA/QC software and tools as well as basic officesoftware (e.g. MS Office).
The roles require working on construction sites which involves exposure to variousweather conditions and physical activities. Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours to meet project deadlines.
Reports to the QA/QC Manager or Electrical Project Manager.
