Job Description

• Develop and maintain detailed MEP project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems into the overall project design effectively.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential delays in MEP installation.
• Prepare and manage the procurement schedule for MEP materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure MEP work is executed according to the approved plans and standards.
• Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status, challenges, and solutions related to MEP aspects.
• Utilize project management software and tools to track progress and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final handover materials.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the MEP project lifecycle.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential for technical understanding.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing subcontractors effectively on-site.
• Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or MS Project, is critical for efficient scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations, is necessary for informed decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus for multinational projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address unforeseen challenges during project execution.
• A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies in MEP project management.
