Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations at various locations and expert knowledge in ELV systems.

The MEP Foreman will play a crucial role in ensuring that regular reactive, preventive & projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while adhering to quality standards.

A valid driving license is essential as the role requires mobility between job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage MEP maintenance & installations including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on our business units.
• Coordinate and schedule work for a team of MEP technicians, ensuring that resources are used efficiently.
• Ensure that all work complies with project & maintenance specifications, design requirements, codes, and standards.
• Perform site inspections to ensure quality and safety, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with Facilities Manager, Facilities Engineer, Site Supervisors, Engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and integration of MEP systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to guide installation.
• Monitor and report on the progress of MEP installations, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Prepare and maintain daily work logs, records, and reports for site activities.
• Manage the procurement of materials and ensure the inventory is available as needed for ongoing work.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and tool-box talks when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site MEP-related issues to minimize project delays.
• Provide training and guidance to MEP staff as needed, promoting best practices and quality workmanship.
• Operate company vehicle to transport equipment, tools, and personnel to various sites as required.
• Proficient in using system, email communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP supervision or a related role is must.
• Proven experience managing and coordinating MEP works in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to MEP works.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
• Valid driving license

Required & Preferred Skills

• Certification in Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) or similar.
• Knowledge of BMS, VRF, FAHU system is a must.
• Experience in extra low voltage ( ELV) system is a must
• Basic knowledge of MS office is must.
• First Aid certification is an advantage.
