Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to join our contracting company in Dubai. Min. 3years UAE experience with MEP companies for villas or low rise buildings.

The ideal candidate should hold a valid UAE driving license and possess the ability to oversee multiple villa projects across Dubai and Sharjah.

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of MEP systems in various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP engineering, excellent project management skills, and a thorough understanding of local building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Planning: Develop detailed designs and layouts for MEP systems in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for MEP installations.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Project Management: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Site Supervision: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies on-site.
• Ensure that all MEP works are carried out in accordance with local regulations and standards.
• Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures for MEP installations.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Ensure that all MEP works meet the required quality standards and client expectations.
• Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and subcontractors.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any MEP-related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
