Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks an experienced Mechanical BIM Modeling specialist to develop and maintain detailed BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP. You will model HVAC, ventilation, chilled water, plumbing, and other mechanical services for coordinated drawings and construction details.

The role requires strong skills in BIM workflows, clash detection, and coordination with other disciplines, with 3+ years in Mechanical BIM and UAE/GCC project exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanical BIM Modeling.
• Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Good knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services.
• Experience in construction projects and MEP coordination.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Good understanding of BIM workflows, LOD, and construction documentation.
• UAE/GCC project experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Model HVAC, ventilation, chilled water, plumbing, and other mechanical services.

• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination and discrepancies.
• Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection/resolution.
• Follow project BIM standards, LOD requirements, naming conventions, and modeling procedures.
• Coordinate with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and other discipline teams.
• Incorporate design changes and client/consultant comments into BIM models.
• Extract drawings and information from BIM models for project deliverables.
• Ensure models and drawings meet required quality, accuracy, and project standards.
• Support the team in achieving project deadlines and deliverables.
