Azizi Development UAE is looking for an MEP BIM Coordinator in Dubai. This role involves managing Building Information Modeling for MEP disciplines across various projects in construction. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and significant experience (6-8 years) in BIM coordination, specifically for medium to large-scale projects.

The coordinator will ensure the accuracy of all digital information, manage BIM processes, and lead a team within our growing projects in Dubai. We seek an individual with excellent organizational skills and expertise in key BIM tools.

Qualifications

Position Overview: MEP BIM Coordinator job in Dubai with Azizi Developments, responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling activities across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines for large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed‑use developments. This Dubai‑based role supports coordinated, compliant, and constructible project delivery across all design and construction stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate BIM processes for MEP disciplines across design and construction stages
• Ensure all digital information is accurate, current, and accessible to project stakeholders
• Coordinate with project managers, BIM authors, consultants, and internal teams to maintain consistent data flow
• Develop, implement, and enforce BIM execution plans in line with project standards
• Ensure BIM models and digital files are correctly formatted and compatible with coordination platforms including Navisworks
• Perform clash detection, coordination reviews, and issue resolution across multidisciplinary models
• Support document submission processes and follow up on approvals and resubmissions
• Ensure drawings and models comply with local authority requirements and applicable standards
• Manage resubmission of drawings and models based on engineer and authority comments
• Review IFC models for GFC drawing preparation and identify discrepancies
• Maintain coordination during design development, construction documentation, and site execution

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• BIM‑related certification such as Autodesk or ISO 19650 is an advantage
• Minimum 6‑8 years of experience in MEP design and BIM coordination
• Proven experience coordinating BIM for medium to large‑scale construction projects
• Strong background in multidisciplinary coordination including architectural, structural, interior, landscape, and MEP teams
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Revizto, AutoCAD, Dynamo, and related BIM tools
• Strong knowledge of BIM execution plans, LOD requirements, clash detection, and ISO 19650 standards
• Familiarity with common data environments such as BIM 360 or ACC
• In‑depth understanding of MEP systems, installation requirements, and construction sequencing
• Ability to validate BIM models for accuracy, constructability, and regulatory compliance
• Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills
• Leadership capability to guide BIM modelers and junior staff
