Position Overview

The BIM Modeler Interior Designer role with Azizi Developments is based in Dubai, UAE, and supports high‑end hospitality and special interior design projects within major mixed‑use developments. The position reports to the Interior Design Manager and plays a key role in translating creative design intent into accurate, coordinated, and buildable BIM documentation. While projects may be located at sites such as Azizi Venice in Dubai South, BIM coordination and design management are handled from Dubai.

The BIM Modeler Interior Designer bridges creative interior design and technical execution by developing and managing detailed BIM models for hospitality and signature projects. This role ensures design integrity, coordination accuracy, and high‑quality documentation from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed interior design BIM models in Revit from concept stage through construction documentation
• Manage model health by optimizing performance, resolving issues, and enforcing project BIM standards
• Create and manage BIM families, parameters, and templates for interior design and hospitality FF and E elements
• Generate complete construction drawing sets including plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules directly from BIM models
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, structural engineers, and consultants to integrate systems and resolve clashes using coordination tools
• Lead internal BIM coordination meetings to ensure interior design elements are accurately modeled and conflict‑free
• Develop and maintain standardized BIM libraries for custom millwork, furniture, and interior fixtures
• Ensure all BIM content complies with company standards and project‑specific BIM protocols
• Work closely with interior designers to translate design concepts, sketches, and narratives into accurate and constructible models
• Support project visualization through 3D views, renderings, and virtual walkthroughs extracted from the model
• Assist in developing data‑rich models to support specifications, cost estimation, and facility management
• Perform regular quality checks on BIM models and drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Implement and follow BIM execution plans for each project

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in BIM modeling for interior design projects
• Experience working on hospitality, mixed‑use, or special interior projects is preferred
• Proficiency in Revit for interior BIM modeling and documentation
• Experience with real‑time visualization tools such as Enscape or Twinmotion
• Working knowledge of SketchUp for conceptual modeling and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and InDesign
• Experience using common data environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or Procore
• Strong coordination, documentation, and quality control skills
