Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Dubai seeks the MENA Chief Operating Officer & Director of Finance to lead strategic operations and financial performance across the region.

Reporting to the MENA Managing Partner and Global CFO, you will oversee finance, IT, real estate, risk, and shared services; mentor leadership; ensure regulatory compliance; and partner with partners to sustain growth and client service.

Qualificações

• Minimum 10–15 years of operations leadership in a major law firm.
• Proven ability to coordinate broad business functions and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience leading enterprise change management and related deployments.
• Strong business, financial, and commercial acumen with strategic planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on leadership style.
• Superior communication skills; written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the MENA region, aligning with firm strategy.
• Drive business transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver actionable financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
• Lead governance, risk, and regulatory compliance across offices; act as Deputy MLRO for MENA.
• Manage regional operations within budgets and drive cost-control initiatives.
