Job summary

Freshfields LLP is seeking a senior Operations and Finance leader for the MENA region, based in Dubai. The role partners with the Managing Partner and CFO to drive performance, governance, and strategic initiatives across offices and services.

We require a proven track record in law-firm operations, deep financial acumen, and change-management capabilities. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor, shaping regional strategy, risk frameworks, and resource planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of broad-based business operations leadership in a law firm.
• Experience coordinating multiple business functions and mentoring teams.
• Proven success leading enterprise change management and communications.
• Strong business, financial, and commercial acumen with strategic outlook.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred; outstanding interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional operations for the MENA region across offices and functions.
• Drive financial performance, reporting, governance, and risk management.
• Partner with HR, Legal, IT and leadership to implement strategic initiatives.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, cost controls, and operational policies.
• Represent the MENA region in global firm strategies and programs.
