The Medical Delegate is responsible for the ethical detailing of Nestlé Nutrition products in the assigned territory. This involves clearly communicating accurate information about these products, their features, benefits, and appropriate use, especially when mothers are unable or choose not to breastfeed. All activities must comply with Nestlé Nutrition guidelines, the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes, Nestlé Instructions, and local country codes, advocating for our branded and unbranded solutions.


A Day in the Life


  • Promote Nestlé’s belief that breastfeeding is best for babies and recommend it over other feeding options.
  • Provide reliable information on infant nutrition and feeding practices to medical and paramedical contacts, becoming a reference advisor on these topics.
  • Organize and participate in medical/scientific meetings related to product knowledge, nutrition, or similar topics, including sponsorship and guest lectures.
  • Ensure optimal territory coverage through prospection, insights gathering, and sharing (e.g., competitive intelligence) using tools like CRM 2.0. Maintain the HCP database and submit reports timely. Manage communication and educational materials/resources for the territory.
  • Enhance the presence of Nestlé Infant Nutrition products and concepts in hospitals within the territory to improve availability and hospital market share.
  • Develop long-term professional relationships with HCPs and medical decision-makers through face-to-face meetings, seminars, conferences, and events. Organize key HCP events/seminars in the territory.
  • Adhere strictly to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes, Nestlé Instructions, and local country codes during all activities.
  • Identify influential HCPs, HCIs, organizations, and government bodies involved in educating HCPs and mothers, to facilitate proper prospecting.
  • Utilize knowledge of products, competitors, territory dynamics, and skills to differentiate our value propositions, increasing advocacy.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Nutrition, Biology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Delegate is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a medical delegate in the UAE.
  • Owns a car and has a valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient to fluent in English.
