Job Description
Medical device sales representatives are responsible for selling medical products, equipment, and services to hospitals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals to facilitate product knowledge and usage.
- Conduct regular visits to physicians, pharmacists, and hospitals to promote pharmaceutical products effectively.
- Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare providers to highlight benefits and features.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify trends and opportunities for product positioning.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials that resonate with target audiences.
- Manage and track sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded consistently.
- Attend medical conferences and trade shows to stay updated on industry advancements and network with key stakeholders.
- Provide feedback to the company on customer needs and market dynamics.
- Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals on new products and best practices for usage.
- Set appointments with hospital staff and administrators.
- Educate medical staff on the benefits of medical devices, provide product demonstrations and support.
- Place replenishment orders at existing accounts.
- Maximize profits by upselling and cross-selling additional products.
- Communicate between sales, marketing, and support teams to improve customer experience.
- Collect, analyze, and present field sales data to assist with strategy planning and implementation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in proctology, cath lab, neurovascular, peripheral vascular; Gulf experience preferred.
- Proven track record of sales success, demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
- Ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals and establish trust quickly.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset with a passion for the healthcare industry.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
