Job Description
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to promote pharmaceutical products effectively.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to educate doctors and pharmacists about new drugs and treatment protocols.
- Continuously update knowledge of industry advancements, medical guidelines, and competitive products to provide accurate information.
- Implement targeted promotional campaigns to drive product adoption in assigned territories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical affairs, to align on promotional strategies.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and report on sales performance.
- Organize and participate in medical conferences and events to enhance product awareness.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies while conducting promotional activities.
- Provide timely feedback to the marketing team regarding customer needs and product performance.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to create strategic plans for territory development.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or a related field is preferred for a strong foundational knowledge.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or medical representation to ensure familiarity with the industry.
- Certification in pharmaceutical sales or relevant healthcare training to demonstrate commitment and expertise.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals in hospitals or clinics to build a robust network.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus to communicate effectively in diverse markets.
- Proficient in using CRM and sales tracking tools to manage leads and maintain records efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage healthcare professionals confidently.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions and strategies.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Physical ability to travel frequently within designated territories to meet clients and attend events.
