Job Purpose
The Medical Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets, promoting pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, and ensuring strong customer relationships to drive business growth in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company’s pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in line with the company’s objectives.
- Organize appointments and meetings with target customers in both hospital and pharmacy sectors.
- Conduct product presentations and detailing sessions to medical professionals.
- Ensure optimal visibility and availability of company products in the market.
- Regularly update customer database and maintain accurate records of visits and feedback.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends and report timely to management.
- Participate in sales meetings, product training, and team discussions.
- Coordinate with supply chain and distribution teams to ensure timely product availability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field (Pharmacy preferred).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales (fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level roles).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working under pressure.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of the healthcare system and market dynamics in the UAE.
- Experience in a specific therapeutic area (e.g., pulmonology , dermatology, Pediatrics) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
