We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage calendars for medical staff
Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of personal and insurance information
Process billing and collect payments for medical services
Coordinate with healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure seamless operations
Manage the waiting area and keep it clean, organized, and welcoming
Respond to patient inquiries and provide information on clinic procedures and policies
Ensure compliance with medical privacy regulations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional medical administration training is a plus
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and office software
Friendly and compassionate demeanor with a patient-first mindset
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
