Role Overview

As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you'll set the tone for a compassionate and efficient healthcare experience. Your role will be pivotal in managing front-desk operations, supporting administrative tasks, and enhancing patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional and compassionate experience; assist with check-ins and check-outs
  • Manage appointment scheduling using healthcare management systems; confirm appointments and handle changes or cancellations
  • Answer and route incoming calls; provide clear information regarding services, billing, and insurance
  • Maintain and update patient records, insurance details, and demographics in compliance with data protection standards
  • Assist patients in completing forms, handling billing inquiries, processing payments, and issuing receipts
  • Ensure waiting and reception areas are clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow and support during emergencies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in office administration or hospitality is a plus
  • 1–3 years of reception or administrative experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous
  • Proficient in healthcare software systems, patient management tools, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
