Job Description

• Conduct routine and specialized tests in Hematology, Pathology, and Blood Transfusion, including CBC, coagulation studies, blood typing, and cross matching, ensuring high accuracy in results.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 15189 and JCI standards by performing regular calibration, quality control checks, and equipment maintenance to ensure reliable test results.
• Analyze test results, verify their accuracy, and communicate abnormal or critical findings to clinicians in a timely manner.
• Manage blood components, including storage, labeling, and compatibility testing, ensuring safe and efficient blood transfusion practices.
• Follow strict safety and infection control procedures, ensuring proper disposal of hazardous materials and maintaining a clean, sterile laboratory environment.
• Troubleshoot laboratory instruments and resolve any technical issues promptly to prevent delays in testing and ensure continuous operation of diagnostic equipment.
