Job description

Our client is seeking a visionary and compassionate Medical Director for their new outpatient center dedicated to children with Neurological Developmental Disorders (NDD) in Dubai, UAE.

This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in paediatric neurology or rehabilitation medicine, capable of thriving in a start-up environment. The Medical Director will be instrumental in establishing the center as a regional leader in Paediatric NDD care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Leadership: Provide strategic direction, develop clinical protocols, and stay updated on global advancements in paediatric care.
2. Patient Care & Therapy: Lead multidisciplinary teams, develop treatment plans, and dedicate 30-40% of time to clinical care and patient consultations.
3. Quality & Safety: Monitor clinical performance, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, foster a safety culture, and lead research initiatives.
4. Team Development: Recruit, train, mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and manage staff turnover.
5. Strategic Planning & Operations: Collaborate on strategic plans, manage budgets, and contribute to business development.
6. Community Engagement: Build relationships with external stakeholders, organize outreach and educational events.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 10-15 years in senior medical management, with at least 5 years in the UAE, preferably in paediatric neurology or rehabilitation.
• MD degree, board certification in Paediatric Neurology or related field, valid DHA license.
• Proven research record, strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus; familiar with digital health technologies.
