Medical Coder

Hatchfit Physiotherapy Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented and certified Medical Coder to join our professional healthcare team in Dubai. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely coding of medical procedures and diagnoses to support billing and insurance claims processing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review patient records and clinical documentation to assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
2. Ensure accuracy and compliance with current coding guidelines and regulations.
3. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify diagnosis or treatment information when needed.
4. Assist in the preparation and submission of clean insurance claims.
5. Monitor and audit coded data to minimize claim rejections and denials.
6. Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records and coding information.
7. Keep updated with changes in insurance policies, coding standards, and healthcare regulations.
8. Provide support during billing audits and reviews.

Requirements:

1. Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
2. 2+ years of experience in medical coding, preferably in a physiotherapy or outpatient clinic setting.
3. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare procedures.
4. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and coding software.
5. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
6. Strong organizational and communication abilities.
7. Commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and professional ethics.
