Medical Benefits Manager - Medical Provider Network

Job Purpose

As Medical Benefits Manager - Medical Provider Network, you will lead the strategic development, optimisation, and oversight of the global medical provider network, focusing on cost containment, operational efficiency, and quality of care.

In This Role, You Will

  • Conduct research on medical networks, benchmarking services, prices, and quality through surveys and comparative studies. Analyze findings and recommend preferred providers.
  • Manage contracting with medical providers, ensuring compliance and negotiating tariffs that balance cost and quality. Collaborate with Procurement & Logistics on tender processes.
  • Ensure quality of medical services by creating benchmarks, monitoring adherence, providing feedback, and working with providers to resolve issues. Address complaints proactively.
  • Establish and monitor service quality benchmarks, ensuring policy and SOP compliance. Address complaints and work with providers to maintain high standards.
  • Build relationships with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and health officials. Keep stakeholders informed of policy changes and conduct training as needed.
  • Develop and refine a medical network strategy aligned with organizational needs, assessing risks and financial impacts.

Qualifications

  • Degree in healthcare, medical administration, or business, with at least 8 years of experience in medical administration or management.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of the UAE medical environment and global healthcare.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Project management skills.
  • Written and verbal Arabic skills.
